The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) President Prof. Nancy IP and Associate Vice-President Dr. KIM Shin Cheul met with Singapore Consul General Mr. ONG Siew Gay at a luncheon hosted by C.G. ONG to discuss strengthening collaboration between Singapore and HKUST in innovation and technology. Prof. Ip and Dr. Kim had a fruitful discussion with C.G. Ong on the I&T sectors and start-up scenes in both Singapore and Hong Kong. Prof. Ip's extensive experience collaborating with Singapore's tertiary and research institutions has fostered close ties between HKUST and Singapore.
The luncheon provided a valuable opportunity to exchange insights and strengthen the existing partnership between the two regions in the realms of academia, research, and entrepreneurship.
