HKUST Commemorates National Day with Flag-Raising Ceremony to Celebrate the 74th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China | The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

In honor of the 74th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) conducted a flag-raising ceremony on its campus on October 1. The solemn event was graced by the presence of members of the university's leadership, including Pro-Chancellor Dr. John CHAN, Council Chairman Prof. Harry SHUM, President Prof. Nancy IP, and Court Chairman The Hon. Andrew LIAO Cheung-Sing. The ceremony was a vibrant congregation of HKUST's community, with faculty members, staff, students, alumni, and their families joining the celebration both physically and virtually.
