The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) joined forces with the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany to host the "Energy in Transition - Powering Tomorrow" exhibition from September 16-19. The exhibition was graced by the presence of Stefan BREDOHL, Consul General of Germany to Hong Kong and Macau, who gave a special sharing session on campus.

HKUST Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Prof. WANG Yang, and Prof. SHAO Minhua, Director of HKUST Energy Institute warmly welcomed Consul General Bredohl and his delegation. CG Bredohl delivered a special sharing on Germany’s roadmap of energy transition in Germany, the challenges and the significant role of research and innovation, followed with an engaging discussion with over 60 students.

This event marks HKUST as the first university in Hong Kong to host this significant exhibition presented by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hong Kong. HKUST is dedicated to advancing research innovation and pushing forward impactful collaborations that supports sustainable development and enhances the living environment for future generations.
