The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) hosted a delegation from The University of Queensland (UQ), led by Prof. Deborah TERRY AC, Vice-Chancellor and President, on campus on April 23.

The delegation had a meeting with HKUST President Prof. Nancy IP and other senior leadership, where they engaged in fruitful discussions about research collaboration and student mobility programs. Both institutions explored collaborations in multiple academic areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience. During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed to strengthen the partnership.

HKUST and The University of Queensland have actively engaged in various initiatives recently. With shared ambitions in internationalization, HKUST anticipates many more future collaborations with The University of Queensland.
