The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) warmly welcomed VinUniversity Vice Provost Prof. Laurent EL GHAOUI for a productive visit to the HKUST campus on September 24. 

HKUST Provost Prof. GUO Yike, along with Prof. YEUNG Sai-Kit from the Division of Integrative Systems & Design and Prof. Tuan Anh NGUYEN from the Division of Life Science met with Prof. El Ghaoui to discuss the potential for offering dual degree programs and creating pathways for outstanding VinUniversity graduates to further their studies at HKUST. The two institutions also explored opportunities for collaborative research projects in areas such as GreenConstruction, Microelectronics, and MarineAI.
 
During the meeting, Prof. Guo and Prof. El Ghaoui signed an undergraduate student exchange agreement, paving the way for VinU students to immerse themselves in the vibrant academic environment at HKUST and for HKUST students to experience the ASEAN culture.
 
As a leading international university, HKUST remain committed to fostering global partnerships and nurturing the next generation of leaders. This strengthened partnership opens new doors for transformative collaboration and student success across Asia.
