Two distinguished scholars from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) are today (Thursday) awarded the prestigious Senior Research Fellowship by the Croucher Foundation in recognition of their breakthrough research in compound semiconductors and fuel cells.

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Associate Professor in Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management Fugee Tsung was elected Regional Vice-president (Asia) of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) headquartered in Metro Atlanta, USA.

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) today received a $5 million donation from The Bank of East Asia (BEA). The donation will be used to support the University’s academic and research development.

The Tin Ka Ping Foundation has generously pledged a donation of HK$3 million to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).

The regalia logistics service, RF Regalia, employing the latest RFID technology, was extended to seven laundry outlets of Vogue Laundry Service and Souvenir Center of the University with a comprehensive logistics and inventory control system.
