The Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA (KH EMBA) Program has secured the No. 1 position globally in the Financial Times Executive MBA Ranking 2026, released today, marking an unprecedented 13th time the program has attained the top position. Jointly offered by the HKUST Business School and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, the program has consistently been recognized among the world's leading Executive MBA programs for its outstanding impact on participants' careers, leadership development, and global business perspectives.

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) announced today that it has risen significantly by 11 places to 33rd in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2027.HKUST President Prof. Nancy IP celebrated the university's upward momentum in the rankings, stating, "This year's notable progress is truly heartening. It stands as clear evidence of the collective synergy among our students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and reaffirms our excellence in teaching, research, and nurturing future talent."

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has risen three places to 44th in the QS World University Rankings 2026, reinforcing its dedication to excellence in teaching, research, and global education while championing diversity and innovation. This year’s rankings evaluated 1,500+ institutions across 106 locations —the most extensive evaluation to date. The Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA (EMBA) Program is ranked the top in the world in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global EMBA Rankings 2019.For the third time, QS profiles the world’s top EMBA programs, including a separate chart for the best joint EMBA programs offered as partnerships across more than one school. The Kellogg-HKUST EMBA has not only ranked the best joint EMBA program for the second time in three years, but also scored a perfect 100 in two of the five indicators used to compile the ranking, namely “employer reputation” and “career outcomes”. Launched in 1998, the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA is the first joint EMBA program in Asia and has maintained its leading position for over two decades. In addition to the latest QS Rankings, the Program made a record-setting achievement last year by topping the Financial Times Global EMBA Rankings for the ninth time.
