Last Talk of HKUST 25th Anniversary Distinguished Speakers Series by Nobel Laureate Professor Hiroshi Amano on the Development of LEDs

The world’s first lightweight, high‑resolution, high‑precision synergistic observatory for carbon dioxide (CO₂) and methane (CH₄) emission point sources – named “MUSICO”, Multi‑Spectral Imaging Carbon Observatory, led by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)　– was successfully launched aboard the Tianzhou‑10 cargo spacecraft on May 11 and has arrived at China’s Tiangong Space Station.

Prof. Jue WANG, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), has been awarded the 2026 Croucher Tak Wah Mak Innovation Award for his groundbreaking research in experimental condensed matter physics.
