Emmy-Nominated Storyteller Wins Best Movie at HKUST AI Film Festival (Chinese Only)
由香港科技大學（科大）舉辦的首屆「AI電影節」日前圓滿落幕。本屆電影節收錄全球逾80個國家和地區、700多部全AI生成的短片作品，最終三部優秀作品脫穎而出，獲頒發多個獎項。
其中，「最佳影片獎」由艾美獎提名編劇Nik Kleverov奪得，其哲思短片《Memory Maker》描繪戰後人類淪為機械附庸的世界，從而引發對人類與機器關係的深度思辨，極具AI電影製作經驗的Jeff Synthesized則憑藉《Newton’s Cradle》榮膺「前沿獎」。而由青年導演葉志祥製作，以聚焦抗戰老兵半世紀歸家歷程的短片《當歸》，不僅摘得「最佳敘事獎」，更獲「觀眾票選獎」。
是次活動為大中華區首個完全利用AI技術創作的100%「AI電影節」，科大首席副校長郭毅可教授與一眾嘉賓親臨出席放映會，觀賞多部入圍作品，見證AI技術所展現的潛力。是次活動的專業評審之一、以《魔戒》系列聞名、五次榮獲奧斯卡獎的Richard TAYLOR先生更以視像形式致辭 ，分享對AI電影未來的看法。
此外，科大於放映會前亦舉辦學術論壇，聚焦四大核心主題，邀得來自不同領域的專業人士就AI創意內容的生成過程、AI對藝術家與電影產業的影響、新一代創作者的特質，以及AI道德與倫理等話題交流真知灼見，吸引近600位電影愛好者共襄盛舉。論壇嘉賓陣容星光熠熠，包括憑電影《沙丘》榮獲奧斯卡最佳視覺效果獎的美國視覺效果藝術家Brian CONNOR先生、Richard Taylor 團隊、維塔工作室代表Chris WILLIAMSON先生及鄭子毅先生、台灣電影學者焦雄屏女士、香港電影出品人向華強先生、香港演員向佐先生、在本地電影界擁超過50年經驗的香港專業電影攝影師學會名譽顧問魏天明先生，以及史丹福大學布朗媒體創新研究所所長Maneesh AGRAWALA教授等。
是次電影節是為期三天的2025年計算可視媒體國際會議（CVM 2025）的其中一環，該活動首次在香港舉行，並選址科大，旨在展現科技與藝術融合的無限可能，為學界與藝術界的跨界合作奠定了堅實基礎。
