In honor of the 74th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) conducted a flag-raising ceremony on its campus on October 1.

為慶祝中華人民共和國成立七十四周年，香港科技大學（科大）今早於校園舉行升旗典禮，科大副監督陳祖澤博士、校董會主席沈向洋教授、校長葉玉如教授、顧問委員會主席廖長城先生，及其他大學高層管理人員為儀式作主禮嘉賓。超過三百名包括科大校董會及顧問委員會成員、師生、校友、教職員及其家屬親身參與，並有逾14,000人在線上觀看。是次典禮的升旗隊由香港輔助警察隊組成，當中五名成員為在讀科大學生及畢業生。

HKUST students make 3D-printed mooncakes to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival (Chinese version only)
明天就是中秋節，除了賞月外，當然少不了要吃月餅。近日，香港科技大學(科大)一班綜合系統與設計學系的博士生，於助理教授李桂君的帶領下，炮製出全港首批利用3D打印技術印製的月餅。這批紫薯及奶黃口味的月餅，印有科大校徽。該食物打印機由團隊設計，除可印製月餅，亦可製作包括曲奇或蛋糕等甜品。
