The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) today held its Congregation 2025, conferring Honorary Doctorates upon five prominent and distinguished leaders. The awards were presented by HKUST Pro-Chancellor Dr. John CHAN Cho-Chak in recognition of their exceptional achievements and contributions to society.Joining the ceremony were HKUST Council Chairman Prof. Harry SHUM, Court Chairman Dr. the Honorable Andrew LIAO Cheung-Sing, and President Prof. Nancy IP, alongside members of the Council and Court, and the University's senior management team.This year's Honorary Doctorate recipients, listed alphabetically by surname, are:Prof. Pradeep K. HKUST's 25th Congregation was held on 16 & 17 November 2017. Over 150 IPO graduates attended the Congregation Ceremony at the Atrium.

HKUST's 24th Congregation was held on 17 & 18 November 2016. Over 100 IPO graduates from Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management (T&M-DDP), Risk Management & Business Intelligence Program (RMBI), Environmental Management and Technology Program (EVMT), MPhil/PhD Environmental Science, Policy and Management (ESPM) and MSc Environmental Science and Management (EVSM) attended the Congregation Ceremony on 17 November 2016 at the Atrium.
