The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) warmly welcomed a delegation from the University Grants Committee (UGC) on January 9, 2025.

香港科技大學（科大）今早於校園舉行升旗典禮，慶祝中華人民共和國成立七十五周年。外交部駐香港特別行政區特派員公署政策研究室副主任包海斌參贊、科大副監督陳祖澤博士、校董會副主席楊佳錩教授、顧問委員會主席廖長城博士，以及其他大學高層管理人員作主禮嘉賓，並由香港輔助警察隊（香港輔警）會操及升旗隊負責莊嚴而隆重的升旗儀式，隊員當中大部分為在讀科大學生及畢業生。

IPO organized "Exploring IPO at HKUST" on 25 November 2017 and invited IPO alumni and current students to share about their study tips, university life and career prospects with prospective students.

Around 50 secondary students attended "Innovate Your Future-Exploring IPO at HKUST" held on 26 November 2016 to know more about the undergraduate programs offered by Interdisciplinary Programs Office (IPO).
