Co-developed by researchers from Qingdao University and HKUST, ET-TENG, a self-powered eye-tracking system, helps paralyzed individuals control devices like wheelchairs, offering a potential breakthrough for assistive technology.  

Researchers from HKUST have pioneered a mechanical bond strategy to create quasi-solid-state electrolytes (QSSEs) for lithium-metal batteries (LMBs).  

The research team led by SOSC Lecturer I Nicolson SIU Yat-Fan found that neurofeedback training can significantly improve the attention and emotional control of children with special educational needs (SEN), providing an effective non-pharmacological adjunctive treatment option for inclusive education.

MAE Asst. Prof. HU Wenqi and MAE PG student Mr. CHEN Xi, in collaboration with Scientists from the Physical Intelligence Department at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart and Koc University in Istanbul created artificial cilia from hydrogel, which can be moved individually or in groups by applying an electric field.
