Our University Anthem
Released in 2023, the HKUST University Anthem was created through the concerted efforts of many talented individuals both within and outside of the University. Its melody and original lyrics in Putonghua were selected from a variety of submissions in response to a call for entries. The Cantonese and English versions were produced afterwards. The university anthem represents the shared identity and innovative spirit of HKUST and fosters a greater sense of belonging and pride among all University members.

That watches o’er the citadels
of learning all as one
Leaping forward till each marathon is run
