香港科技大學致力培養年輕研究人才 三名本科生於《自然通訊》發表論文
香港科技大學（科大）致力培養學生對研究的熱誠及興趣，三名科大本科生近日便發現一種方法，可更簡捷便宜的製造糾纏光子對。由於糾纏光子對是量子通訊及量子網路系統的一個重要組成部分，三名同學的發現令新一代量子網路系統實用化的願景，又向前邁進一步。

香港科技大學與滑鐵盧大學合辦博士雙學位課程
香港科技大學(科大)與滑鐵盧大學簽署合作協議，讓來自不同學科的博士生，可獲兩所大學頒授雙博士學位。 科大校長陳繁昌教授與滑鐵盧大學校長漢杜拉普爾(Feridun Hamdullahpur)教授，近日就兩院校所提供的雙博士學位課程，簽署共同指導協議。來自兩所院校任何學院的獲選學生，將以相若的時間，分別接受兩所院校教授的指導。兩院校去年合作開辦工學博士雙學位課程，這項協議將進一步拓闊現有的合作層面。
