服務大學滿二十年的資深教職員聚首一堂慶祝。 第五屆教職員長期服務獎頒獎典禮於二月舉行。240名服務大學滿二十年的資深教職員聚首一堂，與家人、朋友一起慶祝並獲嘉許。科大校長與大學高層管理人員亦參與典禮，表揚各大學成員堅守崗位、盡心服務。得獎者包括各學科教授、行政人員、語文教師、安全主任、技術員及其他負責大學日常運作的職員。 忠誠服務 團結一志

What an achievement! In 2012, HKUST will have the highest number of newly elected Fellows of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) among universities and institutions in Asia .
