謝茜嘉，原名何紀秋，是知名的商業電台主持人，主持的節目包括廣受歡迎的《叱咤樂壇》及《西加航空》等。然而，當年剛進科大修讀化學時，她仍是一個害羞和文靜的女孩，從未考慮過在廣播界發展事業。 謝茜嘉表示：「考進科大的時候，我還是相當文靜和害羞，但宿舍生活讓我接觸到各式各樣的人，使我變得開朗和外向。」當年攻讀理科學位之時，她亦副修文化研究和邏輯思考等科目，因而初次接觸流行文化。畢業後，她原先於一家藥業公司任職，其後因緣際會參加了商業電台主辦的DJ選拔賽，並成為電台節目主持人。這個決定從此改寫了她的事業。
