科大推出首年住宿生活体验计划 促进新生适应大学生活 推广共融文化
香港科技大学(科大)于学生宿舍推出全新「首年住宿生活体验」计划,旨在让一年级新生顺利过渡和适应大学生活,并透过各项宿舍活动,为新生营造关爱共融的学习环境。
科大一向致力充实同学的大学生活,今次的先导计划,为约500位新生﹕当中包括约四分一非本地生,提供满一个学年的住宿安排。入住宿舍期间,他们将获得「本科生学长导师」的照料。这批高年级学长会安排不同活动,以便宿生们建立友谊,协助新生融入环境。
科大现为所有一年级学生提供最少一个学期的住宿安排,此计划启动后,大学将逐步提升新生的入宿比例,期望最终所有新入学的本科生,均获最少一年大学住宿的机会。
